More free stuff

Ghostly International and Adult Swim have recently teamed up to create "Ghostly Swim", a free digital compilation with 19 tracks from Ghostly's roster and a music video.

Peep it here and give it a listen:

It's over

Two things to celebrate tonight:

-Being finished with college
-Getting a clean bill of health from my oncologist today.

All that's left to say is:

Good riddance

Dear Ann Arbor Area UPS Employee(s),
While I understand that you are not an employee of the United States Postal Service, and therefor have no obligation to do otherwise, I think it's fucked up that you leave peoples' mail on top of your drop boxes at the end of the day if they are not UPS packages. I know that if I were sending something important through the mail, I wouldn't want it sitting on top of a UPS drop box for anyone to see or steal. Anyhoo, seeing as how you probably drive a big brown truck, it doesn't seem like it'd be that difficult to simply drop people's letters in the nearest mailbox so as to get to their rightful recipient.

Thanks.

Successful day at Target yesterday. I picked up:

Juno Special Edition
Meet The Parents/Meet The Fockers- Circle of Trust Collection
The Billy Madison/Happy Gilmore Collection

The last two for 10 bucks each. Score.

Youth In Asia

One take-home final stands between me and graduation. Yikes.

So I found out today that I won a $500 "scholarship" from ADPhi for having most improved GPA from Winter 2007 to Fall 2007. The only good thing that came out of getting lymphoma was getting a 3.5 GPA. I dunno how it happened, but it did. Sweet.
I just finished watching Chasing Amy for a paper I'm writing for my feminism class. Great movie if you haven't seen it before. I find it pretty interesting how, whenever you're feeling a certain way, almost everything you come in contact with somehow traps you in that mood or reminds you of why you're in that mood in the first place. I can't really say it surprises me.

I also recently downloaded the entire 342-episode collection of the This American Life radio show from 1995-2007, and I'm totally hooked. In the last two days, I've listened to almost 9 hour-long episodes, either while going to class, driving, or just sitting in my room.
